Slow-Sim Headquarters is an interactive command center dedicated to giving EA College Football Slow-Sim dynasty coaches the tools and information necessary to dominate in their leagues. Team management, archetype intel, recruiting cheat sheets, and much more.
“Slow-Sim” is the common name for EA’s Super Sim mode within College Football 27. It is called “Slow-Sim” because your matchup is simulated on the SLOW speed setting, which matches real-life speed. You handle all recruiting, development, pre-game strategy, roster management, staff hiring, and facilities upgrades but once the ball is kicked off on game day, you watch from the sidelines just like a real-life coach. This is the sweet spot for many EA CFB 27 fans. You aren’t getting frustrated with your inadequate “stick skills” and the game is more than just a blur of score changes. You watch every single play in real time on your console, mobile device, PC, or even the big screen in your living room just like on Saturdays. Do you have what it takes to build your dynasty and dominate your league?
Recruiting is the backbone of your program. This is where you build the future of your program. Whether it’s the season-long grind of recruiting high school talent or working the Portal at the end of the season, your legacy starts here.
Training reps, redshirt calls, depth chart assignments, and position change decisions. This is where you mold these young men into champions.
Crafting the perfect scheme and playbook is only part of the equation. As program GM, you control the culture—from coaching hires and facility upgrades to NIL strategy. You design the machine; your choices dictate if it wins a title.
You’ve put in the work, built the scheme, and laid the foundation. Now, the game plan is locked. It’s kickoff time—and the rest is written on the field.
Working tools, not blog posts. Each one takes something you already have — a roster screen, a recruiting board, a playbook — and turns it into something you can act on while you still have time to act on it.
Position-by-position archetype and attribute targets keyed to your playbook. One sheet per league, team and season — defaults you can overwrite, printable when you’re on the clock.
Open the toolTurn a roster screen recording into a team-themed spreadsheet: full ratings breakdown, class and dev-trait splits, and a position-needs tab that tells you what to recruit next.
In developmentEvery commit, target and open scholarship on one board. Track the class as it moves and see where the holes still are while there’s time to fill them.
In developmentA branded graphic for every week of the season — away and home columns, user-vs-CPU split out from user-vs-user, league shield on every sheet. Drop them straight into your league thread.
In developmentEvery position archetype with the attributes that move sim results and the ones that just cost you upgrade points. Sortable by scheme, by position, by what’s cheap to max.
In developmentStack the two-deep the way the engine plays it instead of the way auto-sort leaves it. Package-by-package guidance for the schemes people actually run.
In developmentFilm, testing and spreadsheets — written down so you don’t have to run the experiment yourself.
Most of us are in more than one league, and every one of them has its own roster, its own class, its own kickoff window. Keep them on a single board instead of six browser tabs and a notes app.
New intel drops, tool releases and the occasional teardown of a league-winning roster. No spam, no recruiting pitches, unsubscribe whenever.
